Members of ActiveRain are professionals in the Real Estate Industry who live in every city, state, and region of the country. Some are even International Real Estate Specialists. Real Estate Agents like myself are self-employed entrepreneurs and many others in the industry are too. For example, Residential Real Estate Agents, Commercial Real Estate Agents, Property Managers, Brokers, Investors, Mortgage Lenders, Financial Advisors, Stagers, Home Interior Designers, Builders, Home Inspectors, Appraisers, Escrow Officers, Real Estate Attorneys, Virtual Assistants, and more are pulling the economy out of the slumps when the market is down, working feverishly when it's a Seller or a Buyer's Market, and even fearlessly and courageously when there are short sales, foreclosures, Estates to settle, divorce, or other situations that require a professional when others are in need or in trouble.
The ActiveRain Blog was created for professionals in the Real Estate Industry to relay educational, inspirational, motivational, and informative information to the general public about various and interesting topics about Real Estate, including local events, current affairs, school information, life stories, general information, local data, listings, properties for sale and/or sold. Some states like Texas are non-disclosure states; therefore, you won't find sale prices for actual sales. Many bloggers will post articles that are pertinent to their business or helpful information about how to do business better, which may include new technology, enhanced photography, or learning opportunities.
Members of ActiveRain offer suggestions and opinions. Collectively, there is a great diversity of landscape, climate, and regional cultures. From the mountains to the oceans, the great plains, flatlands, rivers, hills, and valleys, bloggers build camaraderie, referral business, and may even travel a great distance just to meet people in person. It's fun to meet-up with fellow rainers and to see the real person who we have grown to know by our profiles. In person, we may see a different look, e.g., jocular faces, different color hair or no hair, beards, mustaches, people shorter or taller than we thought - but if there's one thing that's constant that we all share is our hearts, dedicated to serve others and to be there for each other when duty calls or just to be social. What separates one AR member from another is their passion. In addition to my writing, today I share my photograph of a Purple Passion Flower and one of my favorite quotes about happiness and how it relates to building relationships.
"We human beings are social beings. We come into the
world as the result of others' actions. We survive here in
dependence on others. Whether we like it or not, there is
hardly a moment of our lives when we do not benefit from others'
activities. For this reason, it is hardly surprising that most of our
happiness arises in the context of our relationships with others."
