Do You Know What the Keywords Of Your Home Are?

Bloggers, advertisers, and others involved in digital marketing know what keywords are.  They  “facilitate an online search for information.”  They are sometimes called tags.home staging tip

But let’s face it, we all assign keywords or tags to all sorts of things in our lives.  It’s how we remember things.

What about your home?

If it’s for sale, you can bet that buyers and agents have given it keywords.

When I was looking for my own home to purchase, I gave all sorts of keywords to houses to help me remember them.

For example, there was the…

~Shag? home

This home had used shag carpet in every room of their home, including the bathrooms!

~Next! home

My husband and I knew as soon as we walked in that we didn’t like what we saw, and didn’t go any further

~Smelly home

No explanation needed

~Keep going! home

We pulled up nothing about the yard was inviting.

~Dirty home

Again, no explanation needed.

~The Granny home

Think doilies, outdated wallpaper, and crocheted throws everywhere.

Well, you get my drift.

What keywords do you want your buyers to use when they think of your home after they’ve seen it?

Dream home

Move-in ready home

Updated home

That Kitchen home!

When you’re preparing your home for sale, make sure that your buyers are walking out with nothing but positive thoughts or keywords.

If you’re not sure of what to do, call for our personalized home staging consultation.

I’ll tell you what you can do to make sure your home is saying the right things to your buyers!
