Do You Have A Relationship With Jesus Christ?

I was encouraged to write this post because of Jimmy Hutchinson, a new member to Active Rain. But most importantly a brother who recently accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. 

Kittens can be raised in an oven but they never become cupcakes. An elephant can be kept in your garage but it can never become a car.   You can go to church every Sunday, read encouraging and inspirational books, live a clean moral life, or identify yourself as a Christian, but it is all in vain if you do not accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior.

If you do not have a relationship with Jesus and have Him in your hearts, you cannot live a victorious life.  Don't allow the spiritual enemy to come in and take all that God has for you.

Knowing Jesus is the ONLY way to have a relationship with God. John 14:6 "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me."  We must acknowledge that Jesus is the Lamb of God, His only begotten Son.

Jesus died, was buried, and was raised from the dead so that we can have eternal life.  We must have Jesus, not just for now or in the future, but to have life everlasting.

There is never a better time than right now to be saved.  If you have never made this commitment, you have the privilege of receiving Jesus Christ today. Invite Him into your heart and He promises to come into your heart. Revelation 3:20 "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: If any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with Me."

Please answer His personal invitation today.  Willingly open your heart, saying, "Lord Jesus, I need You. I receive and accept You as Lord and Savior over my life. I believe that You died on the cross and was raised from the dead so that I can be saved from a burning hell."

Now go forth and tell everyone about the goodness of the Lord and let them know that the only way to have everlasting life is through Jesus Christ.
