Where is the best Place to live in Pennsylvania?

A new report by Niche highlighting the best places in the burbs to live places Chesterbrook in Tredyffrin Easttown School District as #1, Tredyffrin as #2, Devon #7, Paoli #10 and Easttown as #22. This report is a little confusing in that Chesterbrook is part of Tredyffrin Township and Devon which is ranked #7 is part of Easttown and Tredyffrin Townships, whilst Paoli ranked #10 is part of Tredyffrin, Easttown and Willistown Townships as well.

Where is Tredyffrin Easttown?

What are the parameters for selection; location, which as we know in Real Estate is highly important. Also included is the quality of schools which we know from past Niche reports rank Tredyffrin Easttown School District as the top Public School District in the nation. Crime rates, housing trends, employment statistics and access to amenities to asses the overall value in an area.

Chesterbrook sign

Chesterbrook lies between the Route 202 corridor and the Pennsylvania Turnpike with easy access via King of Prussia or the Route 29 E-Z Pass only ramp. Chesterbrook is just minutes from many Main Line destinations for restaurants, coffee shops, bars, cinemas, outdoor activity locations such as Wilson Farm Park, Chester Valley Trail and of course Valley Forge National Park. Multiple supermarkets including Wegman's, Whole foods and Trader Joes surround it. Parkview in the center of Chesterbrook allows those who want new construction townhomes to find their new home, whilst those looking for resales can find anything from apartments, townhouses and single family homes, some within homeowner associations some set up as condominium associations. Most have no garages, but several have single and a few have two car garages, prices range from $200,000 to the $700,000's for the single family homes and new construction being built.

What is my Chesterbrook home worth?

Why do people want to live in Chesterbrook?

Tredyffrin Township logo

Chesterbrook lies in Tredyffrin Township and the township building lies on the outskirts of Chesterbrook. Like Chesterbrook, Tredyffrin Township is part of Tredyffrin Easttown School District and is composed of condos, apartments, twins and single family housing. The same things that make Chesterbrook such a geat place to live also apply to Tredyffrin Township as well.

In fact it was all these things which encouraged me to settle my family here when we moved from the UK some 27 years ago.

Tredyffrin Easttown Single Family Home Market Report January 2017

Easttown Township ranked #22 in the report and covers the southern part of

Tredyffrin Easttown School District, straddling Paoli, Berwyn and Devon. Most homes in Easttown are single family, although there are also several town home communities within its borders, several with ground floor master included.

Again what applies to Tredyffrin also applies to Easttown as well regarding location. In general the whole area is highly desirable with a large selection of home styles available.

Endre Barath, Jr. so we are about an hour to Amish Country and to the Poconos it depends which part you are going to, can be an hour and half to 3 hours if you are going a long way North such as Elk Mountain for skiing.

You going to come and visit?

Nick & Trudy when I was in HS during one summer I went to a Cross Country Training Camp in the Poconos. Then when I was at USMA took a drive with a girl and we went to Amish Country, hence the question:))Endre

Growing up Endre Barath, Jr.  I hated cross country. I remember training for our senior Rugby team in high school we went to the Brecon Beacons near Malvern,  today Malvern PA is right on our doorstep but no mountains to run up.

This is very good information to share with families considering a move to the area. I wish we lived closer to Longwood Gardens.

Roy Kelley in Chesterbrook you would be about 45 minutes to an hour away. Very easy drive as you are very close to Route 202 South which will take you all the way.
