Ship of Fools
Some Random Thoughts on This First Day Of April
Any fool can criticize, condemn and complain - and most fools do.
Benjamin Franklin
If at first you don't succeed, try, try again. Then quit.
There's no point in being a damn fool about it.
W. C. Fields
Never let a fool kiss you, or a kiss fool you.
Joey Adams
I wonder sometimes if manufacturers of foolproof items
keep a fool or two on their payroll to test things.
Alan Coren
Even a fool knows you can't touch the stars,
but it won't keep the wise from trying.
Harry Anderson
When it comes to April Fool’s Day, I don’t usually participate in pranks although two years ago, I did have some fun on ActiveRain with a post you can read here if you like. I enjoyed reading the comments and I think the idea expressed in my post remains valid but likely not easy to administer. I’m also not one who is looking to add to anyone’s workload.
Now onto a subject that has nothing in particular with the day but kinda ties in with this post title, I’d like to share this from a series of commercials that K-Mart aired a few years ago...I know it’s silly but I got nuthin’ else today....enjoy the day...no foolin’.
