Real Estate Industry Professionals, Do You Text With Your Customers? I do and I really love it! For me if I have a quick question or the customer has a concern right then and there. You can address it often times faster than an e-mail or a phone call.

While I do not have the text dictionary memorized..I do read and skim through..if someone uses letters or symbols I do not understand I do take the time to read it and learn and try to use it too!

Recently I told a customer that I really appreciated the fact we text one another it made me fill hip..and oh so cool and I could keep up with you crazy kids!

He had a laugh and said it was easier, more efficient and he was a busy guy!

For me it's fun...for him it's everyday life. Technology is simply amazing. Do you text your customers?

Even still I get text messages with things like IDK (I don't know) and at first I was like, "What the heck does that mean?" You would think that I'd be on top of it, but I'm not.

I text short reminders and then follow up with a call later in the evening. But mostly, I stick to email reminders in the mornings.

I text with a few of my people.  Some love it, some loathe it.  Personally, i love dealing with the technology.  It is fast, easy, and direct to the point.  Like me... except I'm not that fast... ok, I am.  FastLane

I don't as of yet. It is mostly the expense involved that is stopping me.  The only service on cell phone that works around here  at all reliably is verizon.  It's expensive and this is a very bad year.   So quite honestly, I can't start shoulder yet MORE expense for communication.  When you add high speed, fax line, cell phone minutes, IDX web site, we are up over $200.00/ month. It has to STOP somewhere.

Hi Midori, honestly, I hate texting!  Will use it only if I had to and it seems like, no I do receive them all the time and everybody knows how much I hate to text just call me and say what you want to tell me.  I am sorry, had to rant a little.  You have a great night.

I haven't tried it wi my clients yet.  I think I will see how they feel about it and possibly start it.  Thank you for the suggestion.

You must have customers who have computers...I can barely get them to find a fax machine..I guess I'm dealing with the ice ages.

I have with a few of them. My cell service chages me for text messages...which I'm stuck with for another year.
