Spring has finally arrived!
This transition can sometimes create a shift in our energy levels, emotions and overall health that at first may feel unbalanced. With that noted, please do yourself a favor and make self-care a priority. This means not pushing yourself too hard, fueling your body with good nutrients and food options, learning something new and allowing yourself to play and laugh more, as to name a few methods of self-care.
Do your best to simplify your life physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. While providing the suggestions for the 27 Day Transformation Challenge, I also participated and found new inspiration when de cluttering my own home. As I donated objects, I even began letting go of furniture that was taking up space. I have now transitioned into living a Feng Shui minimalist lifestyle and I love it! This makes the house much easier to maintain, allowing my mind and emotions to balance out and settle down with more ease. I find myself even focusing more on social relationships and refining my focus on major goals. And this brings me to the next suggestion of opening your home up to like minded people. Perhaps you host a party or small gathering with friends. This is another great way to refresh the energy inside your home and self. Naturally, be sure whom you invite are truly supportive. |
Sounds like a refreshing start to the spring season...less physical and mental clutter is a great way to clear the path for more good !

Good morning Laura. I am working on this too. It is hard to start but once into it very freeing.

We do "spring cleaning" on all of the seasons and my recommnedation is to start with the closet since that is often the most disorganized place in the house.

Your post has great insight . . . .
Good luck and success.

I have to admit I have felt a lift, but quite emotional too.
