Love Those City Council Meetings

Well... I really enjoy going to city council meetings in our area from time to time.   As a member of our Realtors Association's governmental affairs  committee, I find that it goes with the job description to attend a few of these meetings.    Both  the cities of Bryan and College Station and their politics have become increasingly interesting over the last few years. These meetings can now  be tuned into on local TV...but nothing compares to ringside seats when the  verbal punches begin to get thrown by either the members of council, their staff, or the citizenry.  Sometimes it can get really interesting... paticularly if any knock out punches are thrown.  When sitting in the gallery I am always enamored with the eye contact and body language signals being exchanged between council members, staff, and the audience.  If you go to one in your area, pay close attention to all the non-verbal communication that goes on.
