Waterbury:
An Easter egg hunt will take place from 1 to 3 p.m. April 8 at the First Congregational Church, 222 West Main St. There will be games, giveaways and crafts. Admission is $2, $1 for ages 3 to 11. The event will be held rain or shine.

Seymour: An egg hunt party, for ages infants and up, will begin at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday April 5 at the Seymour Public Library, 46 Church St.

Oxford: The Annual Community Easter Egg Hunt will take place at 11 a.m. April 8 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 25 Great Hill Road.

Naugatuck: Easter Village will be open from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. April 7 to 9 and 13 to 15 at the Naugatuck Park & Recreation Department, 258 Rubber Ave.
Admission to see the Easter Bunny is free. Pete & Chris Amusements-Magicians will be there on April 8. Balloon Benders will be there on April 14. Monetary donations and nonperishable food items are welcome.
Prospect: Breakfast with the Easter Bunny on Saturday April 8 at Prospect Congregational Church 25 Center Street from 9 to 11 AM. Public is invited and there is no charge for the event.
After the breakfast, there will be an egg hunt, Children are encouraged to bring a basket to collect their eggs.
Litchfield: An Easter Egg Hunt will kick off at Community Field at 10 a.m., BYOB or bring your own basket. Children 9 and younger can participate in the hunt and in a contest to guess the number of candies in a jar. The winner gets to keep the candy and gets a free dental exam and cleaning from Dr. William Fabbri of Litchfield.
Morris: This year’s Egg Hunt will be 1 p.m. April 9 at the Morris Town Beach. Toddlers through grade six kids welcome.
Torrington: The annual Easter Egg Hunt will be 11 a.m. sharp at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 8. Bring your own basked for kids in preschool through third grade. Participants should arrive no later than 10:45 a.m. at the Oak Avenue Sports Complex.
Special events
Thomaston: The Easter Bunny Express train rides are scheduled at 11 a.m. and 1 and 3 p.m. Sunday, April 9 and Saturday, April 15 from the Railroad Museum of New England, 242 East Main St. Children will meet the Easter Bunny aboard the train that will stop at the Easter Patch for a rubber duckie hunt.
Children 2 years old and younger may ride free. Children 3 to 12 are $16, adults are $18, seniors age 62 and older are $16. Arrival is 30 minutes before departure. Passengers may pick up tickets at the Will Call window.
