An Excuse is Worst Than a Lie
“An excuse is worst and more terrible than a lie,
for a excuse is a lie guarded.”
Pope John Paul II, 1920 - 2005
As I see it . . . . . . .
An excuse is worst than a lie
People don’t want to hear excuses . . . . they want results
Making excuses for our actions . . . . or lack of action will put us in a negative light with the person that we are making the excuse to . . . . It will instantly create a loss of credibility . . . . and respect by the other person in us.
Excuses will kill a business relationship . . . . and result in missed business opportunities.
The is NO VALUE . . . . in making excuses or in lying to someone. Because the first person that we are making excuses to . . . . or laying to is ourself.
It’s far better to tell the truth . . . . and work on the condition then to make an excuse. People will respect you far more for telling the truth . . . . than trying to mask the truth in an excuse or a lie.
An excuse is worst than a lie . . . . because you know better . . . . and the only person that your laying is yourself.
