Oceanside condos for sale

Buyers, on average, negotiated 1 - 3% off asking price, however, 45% of the homes sold for list price or better. The MEDIAN sales price of detached homes was $530,000 (up 7% from last month), and $329,500 (down 3%) for attached/condos.

There were 20 homes with a CONTINGENT status (properties waiting for approval by short sale or REO lenders), 8% of the total inventory, 1 more than last month. These homes are considered active and are included in the statistics below. Some homes with this status may still allow showings or back-up offers.

At the end of March 2017 there were 239 Oceanside homes for sale, a 7% increase from February, the 3rd increase following 5 consecutive declines, which is more good news for buyers. This represents an inventory of 1.2 months for detached homes (the same as last month) and 1.5 months for attached homes (up from 1.3 months last month) based on the current rate of sales over the last 6 months – the Oceanside market remains quite competitive and is a very strong seller’s market.

Hi Jeff -- it's good to see more inventory of homes on the market for sale in Oceanside.  However with still incredibly low months of supply, buyers and sellers need your local expertise now more than ever.

Hi Jeff, great post about Oceanside! I recently read that Oceanside is one of the best cities in California to choose as a place to retire! My husband remembers when there wasn't much there when he was at Camp Pendleton many years ago!

Hi Tricia La Motte, CRS

There's a lot to like about it, particularly the pricing as compared to the communities to the south. Even the oceanfront properties are less expensive.

The down town area has been going through quite a transformation, with new resorts, condos, etc. It's been quite the change since we move here 12 years ago!
