Lets Link Together!
Establishing links between complimentary web sites has been proven to be a viable method of boosting the "relevancy" of both sites by the most used Search Engines and Directories. There are two reasons for this.
First, both sites are easier for the search engines "spiders" as both the inbound and outbound links are quite easy to follow. While you certainly can submit (some times repeatedly!) to the engines, their schedules are often erratic and there is absolutely no guarantee that your site will ever be crawled. The other issue is that the engines often give a higher "relevance" to pages they find on their own compared to pages which have been submitted to them. My site enjoys quite high positions on important keywords on engines I have never submitted to!
Second, the engines actually employ some logic. Consider this, if you had two identical pages (Realtor template sites, for example) and one had no other site linking to it and one had multiple sites linking to it, guess which site is returned first?
Creating the link is really quite easy. Simply "cut and past the information below and add it to your site.
