Our daughter lives in a one bedroom condo in Jersey City and works full time in New York City. She's also finishing up her masters degree. Being a true animal lover, Liz wanted to adopt a dog but recognizes that she doesn't have the lifestyle to do so. Instead, she fostered a cat. She opted to foster instead of adopt because she doesn't have much experience with cats and wasn't sure what kind of commitment she could make considering her lifestyle.
His name is Felix and he was being offered for fostering by the ASPCA.
He is tuxedo with a huge personality and we saw, very quickly, that he and Liz were made for each other. She's his person - it's plainly obvious by the way he cuddles with her and sits with her as if he couldn't possibly be close enough.
The adoption became final yesterday. We are proud to introduce you to our grandcat Felix.
Here's a photo of the moment he wore his Santa suit this Christmas.
And a photo taken 2 seconds later.
If you're not sure if you have room in your life for a pet, fostering is a great way to provide support for a pet without a permanent commitment. Please contact the ASPCA today.
