I am not here to personally bash anybody, but I believe it is my duty to tell everyone on here the truth about this web forum.

These are probably the most unprofessional realtors that you will ever come across throughout your career.

I had joined them last fall sometime thinking that it migh be possible to get help from other agents. I couldn't have been more wrong.  They were all jealous because at the time I was a newer agent, and I was asking questions about BPO's and REO's trying to get more experience.  They all couldn't stand that a young Realtor was getting into the work it took them years to even be able to get a little experience, so they starting posting rude replies to my questions I was asking, and saying I should just "know" it.

One member on there even said he was going to leave because of all the new agents on there asking too many questions.  I had started to wonder why that forum was even there to begin with.  The real reason it was there was to make fun of newer agents, rather than help them.

I expressed my concern that I was only getting help from about 3 agents there, and the rest were posting answers that were just "uncalled for."  After saying that, I was banned from the forum, and even after I had been gone for more than 2 months,  I had found posts, and still continue to do so, of them making offensive comments about me, and slandering my name.

If you wish to find a good realtor forum, stick here with ActiveRain, or go to www.realestatewebmasters.com.

DO NOT GO TO WWW.AGENTSONLINE.NET, you will regret it!

I joined that last fall also.  I tried it a copy times, found that most of the comments were stale.  It did not seem like there was much interest in it.  Then I found Activerain.  I do not think I went back to angentsonline.net since.  I have learned so much here and have had potential clients reading my blog.  Why go anywhere else.

That is a great point Linda.  Thanks for commenting, I've been trying to get other users to realize it.

Thanks for the heads up Kenneth. What you went through sounds very frustrating, and then to get banned is crazy.

I even had one member insult me because I was a college student living with my parents.  After I was banned, a whole group of members took my picture off my website and were putting innappropriate drawings and images on it.  Now the mods can ban me for arguing about their unprofessionalism, but they don't ban people for doing things like that, which if I understand correctly could be against the law.

I was able to find a lot of "clues" for places to go for REO/BPO work from the site, but the agents on that forum can be brutal if someone new asks for information. I took the clues, found the work, and haven't been back.

Well, it would be wrong to say there isn't one person there willing to help, because after all I was one person willing to help thee, and I also got a good lead on BPO companies, but as far as needing somone to be there for you when you really are on a spot, count them out.

I've even had people call me from Active Rain when I posted a question where it seemed I was in need of help.

Some things I wouldn't reccommened asking though.  As far as a list of BPO companies, etc.  I got a list of BPO companies from eBay for 30 bucks, and from that I got 1 REO listing and Sale, and BPO's from other companies, so I am not just going to give somone all my what you'd call "trade secrets."

In any large group of people (like real estate agents) you are likely to find more people that you disagee with than you do. And further, I think its just human nature to build associations with folks we like and respect than those we dont.....Clearly you didnt get along with the folks  at agentsonline....so what, just move on....

An Agentsonline.net forum members post which I obviously deleted.

"YOU ARE A FAT CHICKEN~

you delete my comments about you are unethical, liar agent"

Now you all see why all my comments about them are true?

All of you who are trying to post on this from agentsonline.net telling lies and posting insults about me better stop because I'm going to delete them all.  Telling me bull about how you're contacting an attorney to sue me?  I haven't said anything which will give you any legal action, and if you're seriously considering that, you wouldn't be posting crap about me.  Just because I deleted you're posts doesn't mean I can't access them.

All of you from agentsonline.net need to get lives.  You ban me from your forum, you continue to make fun of me after I'm gone for weeks, and now you think you have the right to come onto my blog to post crap.  If you really don't like me that much why don't you just leave me alone?

All I said was my opinion about this forum, and much truth to back it up.  Do actors go and stalk critics after getting a bad review?

I'm an actor, but I wouldn't really know since most of my reviews were good ones.

I was banned from the Real Estate Webmasters Forum just 1 month ago for no apparent reason other than that I have a website in the same market as one of Morgan's clients. I had been a contributing member for over 3 years and was simply cut off with no explanation whatsoever. I emailed REW twice in the past month with no response.

It seems to me that what started as an open and honest place to exchange information has now become yet another evil website development company.

What disappoints me the most is that I routinely sent fellow real estate agents to their forum and at least 4 bought services as a result. Until I ear otherwise, this simply seems to be an anticompetitive move on Morgan's behalf to directly benefit their Nashville client (who rather be a photographer anyway).

I'm not so sure that real estate webmasters is any different than the rest.

That's weird that you'd be banned for that.   I actually just didn't notice as many problems with REW as agentsonline.net.

I haven't used them in a long time though and I stick mostly with activerain.   I would strongly discourage any agent from using agentsonline.net though, the forum is full of pricks..
