I acknowledge in the best relationships sometimes words are unnecessary. Showing up, being present to the person or situation presented is actually worth more than 10,000 words. We create so much unnecessary drama in our regular scheduled programming with words. I choose not to engage or embrace the daily drama... to let it roll off me and instead focus on what really makes a difference- right relationship with God and those I have been given to love on and serve.
I could plan, implement strategies and work hard on relationships and fall short and get frustrated or I can be who I am ..... allow love to flow.... be genuine, authentic and faithful and let God handle the rest. By doing this I am surrendering to God's higher plan and letting the drama go by choosing not to embrace or entertain it.
Do you need to declutter your mind? Is it filled with plans, schedules and "to do lists" for the people and relationships in your life? Possibly those very same lists are standing in the way of seeing what God really has for you. The Creator does not do anything by accident.
Look around you. Who has he strategically placed in your life for this moment in time. Who lifts you up..... who loves on you in tough times, often without words? Can you drop your defenses and let them in? The drama you are holding onto is keeping you from your best life. Can you release it and let the healing begin today?
