Ok. So its not a human brother.

Puppy Scheer has arrived.

It was an extremely busy week for me work-wise - a few great transactions underway - some early work with a couple relocating to Denver from out of state - a few fires to put out and then there is my family.
Last Sunday we brought home the newest Scheer. I previously told you that Patrick was coming home with us. Well, there were some last minute switcheroos, too complicated to bother writing about, we did not wind up with Patrick, but our new puppy is home with us. He was named Tully, as they were born on St. Patrick's Day and they were all given temporary Irish names for i.d. purposes. The kids loved the name, and so it has stuck.

Tully is a bundle of energy but as a puppy does, sleeps a lot too. A clean bill of health was given by Lone Tree Vet and we are excited to go back next week for shots and see how much weight he has gained.
The kids are seriously on Cloud 9. Totally over the moon. They are so giddy they argue over whose turn it is to play with Tully. They begged every morning to let them play hooky from school. (How did they know what hooky is?) Needless to say, they went to school. My wife Laura is smitten and I couldn't be more pleased with that as she was not always so on-board with this. Even Luna the cat seems to tolerate the new addition, which we weren't sure how that was going to turn out.

So I will be seeing you in the Highlands Ranch dog parks soon & on the Highline Canal Trail! I see many trips to both in our future with Tully.
