Congratulations to son John Dunham who trained with Gilbert’s Gazelles in Austin, Texas and ran in the 2017 Boston Marathon. Despite the grueling hills and warm weather they all made it happen! What fun that must have been to be there for John Dunham's run, and what a thrill for him to be in THE Boston Marathon - such a classic. The weather for this event can change so dramatically from year to year - heat, cold, rain, you name it. It's been years since I saw it live!! And of course with the tragedy there some years ago it holds a special place in our heart as former Bostonians!

Anyone who can run a marathon is pretty dedicated and incredible. Even before knee surgery a 10K was grueling to me.
