Here we are at the end of February and while I've stated what my goals are for 2007, I have not yet put it in writing. The going has been slow. I've been working my tail off, figuratively speaking. (Although, it would be great if selling real estate really did work some of my tail off.) But my closings have been few and far between. I am accustomed to a higher level of production so my lifestyle has been impacted by my lack of closings. I have tons of contacts and exclusive buyer clients. I just haven't been able to get them to make decisions. I think I've been a little out of synch. Last night, I finally felt it -- that groove -- I felt everything "click". I was talking with a couple of buyers who have starkly different opinions about where they want to live and as such they simply did not want to discuss it. I was able to get them to talk about it and spark a conversation between the two of them that I know will help them discuss their wants openly with each other over the next couple of months. It was so much fun to be truly helpful to these people and help them get on the right road towards their decision making process. I was "in the groove". I knew what to say and how to say it to help without pushing.
Now that I've found my groove again, let's get those goals stated. So here it is. On my blog. My goals for 2007. I will close 100 transactions in 2007.
So, I'm off to a slow start, but I will do it. Any words of encouragement from fellow REALTORS are appreciated!
