One of the perks about living in a small county town is having the ability to shop local. Although Saint Cloud FL is growing by the thousands, there are still neighbors who enjoy sharing their home grown items with the public. This brings me to the Chapman's U Pick Blueberries.

Larry and Nancy Chapman planted 2400 plants in 2011. They both worked another job, but hand cleared and planted their blueberry plants. The bushes were so abundant, that they had a hard time keeping up with the picking. They decided to buy signs and set up a 'u-pick' berry market. They practice sustainable farming and have not applied chemicals to the fruit.
From personal experience, they are friendly, professional, and have that all around southern charm. The berries, well, they are delicious. Fresh, large, juicy, and perfect for any recipe.
$20 gets you a large bucket filled to the rim with berries you pick yourself. My family and I went out there last saturday and had a great time. Best part was tasting them as we picked up.
