Yesterday I competed in the International speech contest in Toastmasters at the Division level, have won, club then area. Since I won yesterday at the division level, next is District 3 (all of Arizona) after that is Regional in Canada coming in August, and then International.
When was the last time you won and won BIG?
It is not 24 hours later and my eyes are still burning from having excitement and waking up at 3:50a.m. Saturday morning, and to excited at 11:00p.m. I was unable to go to sleep.
When was the last time you were in this state of mind?
Face to face congratulations, emails, texts,
And tonight, I begin practicing for the next level coming in just 13 days. I have been here before but the intensity, the commitment, the focus and progress are far greater than ever before.
Bottom line, it is like getting a well above average PHYSICAL. I can see what the heart can really take, in excitement.
I am learning what to do before going to sleep, and how to breathe different a few times a day.
It has been YEARS since I have been at this level of fun, and excitement. It is a genuine experience.
