When the going gets rough, the tough carry pepper spray

By

As a REALTOR(R) Safety Instructor, I am often asked which type of pepper spray I recommend.  There are dozens of brands on the market.  I highly recommend the ASP Palm Defender.

The Palm Defender is a cylindrical pepper spray unit with a safety at one end and a hole at the other where the pepper spray is discharged from.  The unit also has a key ring attachment so that you can keep it with your car keys.

The pepper spray cylinder within the Palm Defender is replaceable, so if you discharge it you don't have to purchase a new unit (handy since you should test any unit you carry once a month with a short burst).

Because of its shape, the Palm Defender is easy to point.  Whatever the end of the cylinder is pointing at will have pepper spray discharged at it.

These units run about thirty dollars, and replacement cylinders run about six or seven dollars apiece.

Be safe!

Absolutely, it's in my car, not attached to my key chain...then I wouldn't be able to carry it with me.  However, I alway's have it.  A self defense course help's too!  It saved my life one time!!! Just make sure when you spray it you look the other way...and move your hand left and right b/c you never know where the person you are spraying it at is standing.  Look away, spray and run!
