Sybil Campbell ~ hi Sybil... thanks. It's also good information for locals... there are schools on this list that even locals know little about.

Elizabeth Weintraub Sacramento Real Estate Agent, Top 1% of Lyon Agents ~ the difference in property values in similar neighborhoods, but with one being in an A rated school area and the other in a B rated school area is easily 8-10% here. I've never calculated what the difference is when we are in C or D schools, but it's got to be big. Private school tuition here can run as high as $40K per kid per year. Way cheaper to pay that extra $100K once.

Nina school systems are an important component of the home buying process, so good schools are very important in how desirable a property is.

George Souto ~ hi George... one thing I tell all my clients is that even if they don't have schools to worry about, they still need to be in a good school district for resale value.

Schools are the reason many buyers select homes. In my market that can change from one school year to the next.

Debbie Reynolds ~ hi Debbie... we also redistrict from time to time but not every year... the school system is just too large to absorb too many changes.

Roy Kelley ~ hi Roy... this is also great information for the "locals" as many of them would not be totally up to date on some of these top schools which seem to fly under the radar a bit.
