A Mother's Day Tribute to My Mother In Law - A letter to Joann

Dear Joann,

Thank you for being the best mother any man could have. I know this because I married the perfect man you raised.

The man you raised grew to be

loving

caring

giving

unselfish

hardworking

ethical

a role model for my son

humorous

(and it didn't hurt that he is good looking).

Thank you for being a strong enough woman to teach a man how to treat women with respect and all of the other wonderful attributes you have instilled in him. You have my eternal gratitude for having loved him so much that he can love unconditionally. Thank you for taking me into your family and treated me as if I were a part of it.

I love you and want you to be well. You are going to be soon.

Below is a photo of you, I and Jerry on the boat I found I wanted to share with you again. I so enjoyed that week you spent at our home.
