Congratulations to my Buyers on "winning the bid" on this rural property in Elizabeth. Right now there are not many that are close enough to town and reasonably priced, so when you do find one, there are hoards of Buyers. (one property we saw got 30+ offers) This property was not much different, many offers were submitted, but I had a good idea how to win the bid, and they took my advice!
This property is about 30 minutes East of Parker on 4 acres with a ranch home. They wanted to downsize a bit, but this home has about the same square footage as they currently have. They now have a HUGE outbuilding, a chicken coop AND a zip line. Their daughter is thrilled, and cannot wait to try it out! Moving this time of year, they can plant in the greenhouse and raised garden beds and get the pond working!
With the appraisal going into a "field review", no one was sure it was closing, but now has been settled, and both appraisers felt the value for the outbuilding was appropriate, and now set for closing.
Last night we were all laughing about the stress of the bumps in this transactions, but will make the closing even more special!
