When sunflowers are in season, we often display them in the corner of our upstairs hallway. They are a wonderful contrast in the big turquoise pot that Ron's grandmother had in her home.
They are one of our many smile landmarks. They also bring to mind an excerpt in Thich Nhat Hanh's, (Buddhist monk) book, You Are Here, Discovering the Magic of the Present.
"We are like the flowers. Every one of us is a miraculous flower in the garden of humanity. If you look deeply into yourself, you will see that you possess everything."
Thich Nhat Hanh
