Hey ya'll! Is the real estate market picking up? Are the REO's getting sold a little quicker then last month? Well, I've even seen multiple offers on some of them! I am speaking specifically about Richmond, Hercules, Pinole, and El Sobrante, Ca. I have co workers who have been showing a lot of property in Antioch and Pittsburg and are experiencing the same thing!

Well, that's great because that means people are interested in homeownership and may begin to buy a home and live within their means. For those who were less fortunate, hopefully can start fresh somewhere down the road and at least won't continue to suffer from the financial burden they ended up with in the past and won't do it again!

On the San Mateo peninsula, on the other hand, its nice to see homesellers being able to get their homes sold and making some money. It is great to see homebuyers compare shopping and being able to negotiate a price for a home that is satisfactory to both!

I do believe that the market is picking up.  Hopefully it will keep going.

It seems like the REOs are selling a lot quicker now. There are definately more people out looking for a home.
