BAM! Spring home buying season is HERE! It was a good week for closings this week with the second week in a row of 14 closings in our very narrow category of stick-built single family homes within the City limits of Minot. Of the homes that closed this week the average days on market was 94, a slight drop from last week's 105 but any drop in days on market is a good thing.
The chart above is the total MLS activity for the week. This includes ALL types of properties as well as all cities in our MLS. The chart below is very restrictive as explained below.
Be sure to note the line above as this is a very restrictive report. There were 14 homes sold in this limited category. The most expensive home sold for $420,000 and it was on the market for 52 days. The least expensive home sold for $27,950. and it was on the market for 90 days. Average days on market for the 14 homes sold was 94. Of the homes sold the average price per square foot (total square footage) was $93.85 a slight drop from last week’s $98.06. (smart Sellers that want to move are being more competitive on their pricing).
