Do you have a will?

Many people die without deciding where they want thier assest to go. This can be taken care of ahead of time easily. Meet with an attorney and have them help you record what you want done with your assets if you die. Usually the cost is minimal and If you don't have a will it can become complicated. If there isn't a will, it is sent to probate. It could take a long time for the state to sort out who the inheritance shoud go to. If you have a will, it is easy because you have already decided who gets what. It is your estate so record who you want to leave it to.

Yes I have protected my loved ones with my will. I think its a vital thing for anyone to look at doing and updating as needed.

Laura- Good for you.

Jerry-Thanks.

Susan- It is better to have it and not need it , Than to need it and not have it.

Hi Shaun,

Is'nt a  "Trust" a better way to go than a will?

Thanks for the great info, I know that we need to take the time and redo ours, right now our kids go to someone who has passed.  Luckly my parents are next in line.  But still we need to take care of getting it updated.
