Market stats for April show the market remained the same as the prior month in closed sales of condos, villas and townhomes in Highland Beach FL. If you are considering buying a home you can still find deals on a condo or house in Highland Beach, but having a good real estate agent who understands the market is a must.

Don't wait on the sidelines for too long.  Many of our listings are selling quickly due to low inventory.  As you can see from the graph below, listings are selling with an average of .91% list to sold ratio. To make sure you don't overpay for your home, you'll want to have an agent that does a thorough market analysis of the Highland Beach condo or home on which you are making an offer.

It makes it even more difficult if you are looking for pet friendly condos in Highland Beach, Florida.

Low inventory suggests that condos are not sitting on the market for very long.  This is the market we are in. Low inventory in Highland Beach often has multiple offers coming in on homes similar to what we saw back in 2007. I wouldn't expect home prices to run up quite as fast as they did back then as banks have gotten a lot stricter on lending guidelines and are no longer giving a loan to anyone with a pulse. But mortgage rates are rising.  Low inventory and higher mortgage rates are one indicator that prices should continue to rise.

Elyse immediately ‘got’ us

We found Elyse on-line after working with another realtor that was not helping us find what we wanted. Elyse immediately ‘got’ us and showed us the right properties while providing encyclopedic knowledge of neighborhoods, dog restrictions, lifestyle options and benefits/trade offs between one house/neighborhood and the other. Elyse consistently provided important information at every stage of our process. As out-of-towners this was essential to our making the right decision. We couldn’t be happier or more grateful to Elyse for everything she’s done. Elyse is a rare combination of being a true subject matter expert and, more importantly, a genuinely caring person who looks after her people.

A good all round report that buyers can understand, and sellers can see where they will fit in with low inventory. If they want to buy or sell they should hire Elyse Berman as she knows the market and can explain it easily.

Hi Elyse - good solid market this time I believe precisely because the fundamentals are good and banks are not giving away mortgages.
