It is amazing to me at how low tech some real estate agents are. These days, the majority of buyers and home sellers conduct all of their research. It amazes me at how few agents have no presence on the Internet.
Each year I spend a percentage of my income on improving the technology I use to serve my clients. I also continually improve my understanding of technology and how it affects real estate sales.
I consider myself to be one of the most technically sophisticated real estate agents in my market. I have developed a system for selling real estate which I feel no one in my market can touch.
There was an article written by tech guru Matthew Ferrara pushing real estate agents to embrace technology to market their listings and to serve clients.
If you are potentially interviewing an agent to hire for the sale of your property. You may want to read the article. It should provide some insight as to what you should be looking for when you are interviewing.
