Not So Wordless Wednesday: The Santa Rosa Plums Are On Their Way!

By
Services for Real Estate Pros with Napa Consultants DRE00893924

On March 12th, I shared this picture of the Santa Rosa plum tree in Quincy Park.  Yesterday, I took another shot of the tree.

It is now full of plums, that will soon ripen to a beautiful deep burgundy color. We are looking forward to having a handy snack as we take Quincy for a walk.

Happy Wednesday!

Great comparison of the pphotos, those plums look as if they will be nice and juicy if the birds leave them alone.

Boy do I ever love plums off a tree. Mom always took care of them of them in our backyard.

Hi Ron & Alexandra - Nice to look forward to some ripe plums. We have a plum, but it's just an ornamental one - no fruit : (

Dorie Dillard Thank you so much for your kind words, we appreciate them.  Ron was suggesting that I take a picture of when they are ripe and ready to eat in one bite.  They are so delicious and last for an instant.  A

Joe Pryor They go fast around here, as this particular plum tree does not have a long ripening season.  They will be ripe by mid of next month, and be done.  A

Nick & Trudy Vandekar, 610-203-4543 The birds have not noticed this tree for a while now.  They have lots of other things to go for.  When we lived in Los Angeles, we had a Santa Rosa plum, a nectarine tree and a peach tree.  We had to net those so we could get some fruit.

Sweet plums, I haven't one in such a long time. I like it when they are that really dark burgundy shade inside and out.

Santa Rosa plums are my favorites.  I can imagine once ripe, at that location, they won't last long.
