I do not know who started this or when they first named May 27 , as ' National Sunscreen Day ' . I just read it in the carrier Pigeon , a monthly free magazine that I receive. Check out www.theuptightsuburbanite.com. It is interesting to see that they have something for each day of the month of May . Hi Gita... I should have invested in sunscreen manufacturers decades ago as I personally am covered in at least a 30 sunscreen everyday all year long... I could have kept these companies in business just on my own!
It is very important to remember to use sunscreen protection during outdoor activities.
Let's hope people remember their sunscreen this weekend with sunshine and outdoor activities abounding everywhere !
We use a lot of sunscreen here in Atlanta. Actually just had to go buy more so my son can take it in his daycare bag. Love the start of summer.
