To Wait is To Procrastinate

“If you wait to do everything until you’re sure it’s

right, you’ll probably never do anything.”

Win Borden 1943 – 2014, American Lawyer, Businessman

and Politician

As I see it . . . . . . .

To wait is to procrastinate

When you wait for all the stars to line up just right . . . . and everything to fall into place before you start . . . . You will never get started.

Get things in order the best you can. Use the information that you have . . . . and resources at your disposal.

Know what it is that you want to achieve . . . . and go after it with the determination to achieve it.

You will make adjustments along the way as you go . . . . You will become better at what your doing . . . . and you will gather new and additional resources along the way.

To wait for everything to be perfect before you start . . . . will never arrive. Go with what you have . . . . and make the most of what you have . . . . and what you have is enough to get started.

To wait is to procrastinate . . . . To start is the beginning of progress.

Can't be said better. The harderst thing  is to start, I know it from my own experience. You have to make your own mistakes, but this will be the way to perfection.

Hi Lou,

Procrastination is a very ugly word. It is all about doing nothing. You can't be successful doing nothing.

My husband is one that says he will do it later and then forgets. I suggest he does it now and then doesn't have to worry about forgetting.

Waiting is just an excuse. Procrastination, unmotivated, no desire - all the same thing. It's a shame when people build invisible walls around themselves thinking nobody can see what's really going on. And when pushed against the wall, blaming others is an inconvenient truth that backfires.

This is excellent advice to share.

When you wait for all the stars to line up just right . . . . and everything to fall into place before you start . . . . You will never get started.
