Three Prince William County, Virginia New Home Communities You Should Not Miss!
As a New Home Buyer Specialist I see all the new home communities in the area. Many of my buyers are folks relocating to the area for work. The typical dilemma for the buyers is how to find a home with a reasonable commute at an affordable price. Here are some of my favorite new home communities and why!
Potomac Shores - due to it's location off 95 and Rt 1 with VRE access for now at Rippon Landing but in 2018 it will have it's own VRE Station!
Add to that the future town center along the Potomac River and the amazing amenities the community offers as well as new schools right in te community and you have a home run! With 26 different home styles to choose from there is something for every buyer. No wonder it was voted 2016 Community of the Year!
We have sixteen buyers who have chosen this community as a place to call home. My identical twin lives here so we have first hand insight into life at Potomac Shores.
Cayden Ridge- Is a community you might miss unless someone tells you about it. The location is awesome right off Signal Hill Rd with a easy walk or quick car ride to the Manassas Park VRE.
I know Manassas was not on your target area but trust me you want to at least look at it! You can head west to Herndon , Dulles or Gainesville easily from here and reverse commute to Quantico is a breeze down Rt 234 . Or take Rt 234 to 66 or you can take 28 to Dulles area or Yates Ford Rd to Fairfax. You will be surprised how easy this commute can be.
The very rare feature of this community is it's walkabliy. Leave the car at home ad walk to everything. There are so many options for shopping and dining! Bar Louie as well as Long Horn Steak House are walking distance to this community. And in just a quick five minute drive is Nathan's Ice Cream and Tony's Pizzia are the local favorites and yo will want to go again and again! And Old Manassas with it;s charming shops and restaurant's is only a 5 minute drive away.
You just do not find this in any other location! Homes are priced from $500's expect to pay $550- $650 to get what you want once you build in the options you want. Miller and Smith builds a lovely home I live in one that was built 50 years ago in Mount Vernon and they stand the test of time!
Avendale In Bristow -This is another
community built by Brookfield Homes. It's
location puts you in an awesome location to do a reverse commute to Quantico down Aden or Bristow Rd. Brookfield Homes in Bristow is known for their Smart Home package and Alexi does some amazing things. If you are into the latest technology and find the smart home appealing I would love to show you how it works!
If you enjoy driving the country side rather than a highway this is the commute for you! If you are headed to DC no problem The Manassas Airport VRE called Broad Run is just about a two miles away! And everything you need is at Bristow Centre Shops. Groceries, Banking, Drug Store, Dining and you just have to try Duck Donuts in Bristow! Homes in this community start in the low 400's for 1800+ square feet and put affordability back in the the grasp of new home buyers.
I help new home buyers all over the Northern Virginia area from Fairfax County to Fredericksburg and as far west as Loundon County. If there is something you are looking to find just ask. I had a buyer a few weeks ago who was looking for a rural setting to raise their kids that would feel like when they grew up we found it in Stafford. I had another buyer who wanted an acreage home but not on well and septic. I knew right where to take him an save a lot of time and stress. I just had a request for a home with main level living that would give them a water view. Found it for them!
Try me I cost you nothing the builder pays my fee. You must talk with me before you go to the builders site to register or visit. You may not realize it but you give up your right to representation when you enter a builders office and sign in. You can prevent this and retain your rights to have a buyer agent by allowing me to come with you on your first visit or at the very least use my name and tell them you are working with a REALTOR. After all as a new home buyer , "You Don't Know What You Don't know". As your buyer agent I am your advocate and help you through the process and be with you for the five to six month build time. A lot can happen over five months and having someone who does this everyday can only help and it can't hurt!
