Determination and Success

Sharon Tara - I am glad that I never gave up and had the chance to experience the Alps with my daughter. It's funny, as a mom of little kids, we are always propelling them forward by motivation and support. When your kids grow up and they do that for you, it's a tender moment you'll never forget. 

Myrl Jeffcoat - I appreciate how sincere you are. It's nice to know that my story resonated with you. I have very fond memories of my visits to see my daughter. I go there for the sake of seeing her and my son-in-law. It's such a rare occasion and I value every second we are together. People always say, you're so lucky... the truth is the number of years in between are heartbreaking for me. When I do go there, my daughter makes sure our time is well spent and I always come back with fond memories. 

Roy Kelley - Thank you Roy. I greatly appreciate your feedback. It's nice to know people read my blog posts and I have something of value to share.

Lottie Kendall - I'm looking forward to reading your post about your adventures to the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu! You must be exhilerated and exhausted in the most positive way. That's what climbing does for you!

Nick & Trudy Vandekar, 610-203-4543 - Family is my everything! Seeing the world together is better yet! It's not about the number of children parents have or if adult children have children or not... it's about your journey together as family that makes the difference. Pushing forward and not pulling each other down is the only way to live. 

Michael Jacobs - I really do think placing one foot in front of the other and savoring each moment is just as exciting as that first foot on the moon. We owe it to ourselves to enjoy the journey of the life we are given. 

Gabe Sanders - Parents have a lot to learn from having kids. Mine have kept me on my toes since the day they were born - retract, from within the womb! Both were kickers who kept me energized day and night!

Amanda S. Davidson - I read your comments and let it soak in. I was the type of kid who dreamed big dreams sitting on my front porch. We didn't take family vacations. In my mind I was navigating into the future, wishing and hoping for children and places to travel. The Swiss Alps were never on my radar!

Donna Quinlan - Like any stage in life, there's apprehension about the unknown. It is a blessing to have adult children who care for you and much as you do for them. Having mutual respect is the greatest gift any family can hope to receive. 

John Wiley - I continue to gain momentum with cherished memories. Sometimes when you're in the moment, you don't fully appreciate it until you reflect back. Can you imagine what it would be like to sit down one day and watch your entire documentary roll by on film from the moment you were born to see and understand more than you ever knew or thought you remembered? Perception is such a mystery.
