Sally - great looking listing! I would imagine that not having HOA or maintenance fees are a big plus for your area. I hope Gary and your kids treated you like a queen today!

Sally,

Happy Mother's Day to you!

What is "double wall construction" and why is it valuable in Hawaii?

Aloha Sally,

Looks like a great property. Nice an open floor plan. But then again everything always looks beautiful in HI.

Congratulations on your new listing!  I will have one in the valley also, so we can have two open houses next Sunday in the neighborhood.

Looks like a nice listing although your prices are a little higher than Florida...the price for living in paradise I guess. Good luck!

William: After flying to Kauai on Saturday and everyone getting back here very late (we walked in our door at midnight) we all were recuperating yesterday but we managed to call each other to wish each other well. :)

As I traverse Active Rain I discover varying home prices. I think Hawaii approximates New Jersey for what you get for the money. Happy selling, Sally.

Hey Linda: In this area it's a plus. We were recuperating after flying to Kauai :)

Mike: In this area the majority of homes were built in the late 50's and through the sixties...and with single wall construction. After Katrina the insurance rates went up ...yes, even here. Double wall construction is no problem getting insurance at reasonable rates. Single wall? They can change from one owner to another with not one day lapse...otherwise.....gasp!

Sally the house looks much larger on the inside than it looked from the exterior picture.

Does the WIDESCREEN TV SET come with the house :) :)

Sally- I'm with George...the outside view was deceiving.....is that the hill behind it?  Someone will benefit from the mature landscaping......is this house far from the last one you sold?

Andrew: Brilliant Watson! thanks for the well wishes!

George: I took more pics today...will get them up soon...this is only about half the house :)

Kathy: Okay..okay..will put new ones up :)  This is near my area...the other one was south...way south :)
