The home owner claims his new water heater was installed by a licensed, professional plumber. Of course he did not have a receipt from this gentleman. I convinced my client this in unacceptable and it must be corrected before something bad happens.

This looks like a do- it- yourself project done by someone. Have a licensed plumber inspect it .

Its just some small crimps in a line.  It should be ok for at least a year before there is a problem.  Maybe hard to find the owner and the mysterious plumber by then.

In the State of Pennsylvania.

There is no such thing as a Licensed Plumber.

The State of PA continues to refuse / negate the possibility of State Licensing of Contractors.

Hey that is a pretty "kinky" post. Methinks the water flow may be restricted.

Wow that's crazy! Those stainless steel flex lines are not even permitted on water heaters here. They would be taking them off real fast and installing proper copper or approved plastic lines that don't kink :)
