Good morning,  Kathy -- it's a reality in so many communities.  Good for the restaurants coming together for this important event.   May it be very successful.

This is a very worthwhile cause and I hope plenty of money is raised for it.  Besides addiction, there is a big problem with mental health issues that proper treatment doesn't seem to be available for.

They do Sally K. & David L. Hanson And thank goodness for their generosity.

James Dray I'm very sorry to hear that. We have a large number of sober homes in our area.  They all need our support.

Barbara Todaro And it has continued to grow. I didn't realize it until we moved back to Delray .

As do I Gabe Sanders

Dorie Dillard Many families have sent their children here for help.

Scott Godzyk Delray is working with other municipalities to regulate the sober homes and make sure that those in need are getting real help.

Wayne Martin I hope it will be successful!!!

Sharon Tara They're part of the community and we have to do what we can to help them.

Michael Jacobs The sad thing is that while they are trying to get the help they need, there are still those who prey on their dependencies.

Brian England I agree, and have to believe that those we see on the street and without a home don't choose to be there. Many have mental or emotional problems.

I was going to make a joke about what does Taste of Recovery taste like? But then I decided against it, because for many people, it's a long road, overcoming addictions and rebuilding lives. Some people never get there at all. They die first. I hope to god it doesn't taste like sour grapefruit juice, though. Damn, I can't help myself.

Hi Kathy Have heard that Delray is one of the top places for recovery in the country. Love Sarge. Know his story and he is one of the best comedians I have ever seen. Has a great message also.
