This post is the 1,500th blog post I’ve written at BarryOwensBlog.com . . .
1,500 posts was never a goal . . . It just happened!
In fact in all these years of writing this blog, I’ve never paid attention to how many posts I’ve written . . . or how many people have read these posts.
Truth is, I write a post almost every working day.
It’s the first thing I do when I sit down at my desk in the morning.
I’ve always considered it to be a “Spooling the brain up” exercise.
This is my “warmup” for the day.
On those rare days when I fail to write a post, I find it difficult to find my groove – my flow for the day.
We know from our sports coaches that we need to stretch and get our muscles warmed up before our workout or performance . . . otherwise, we are more prone to muscle injuries which could take us out of the game for a while.
Same goes for our brains (They, too, are muscles).
So . . . You don’t have to write a blog post every day, but how do YOU warm up your brain before you dive in to the fray?
(If you don’t have a spool up routine, give it a try 1st thing every morning)
