Ina Road is Open - Traffic Alerts to Tucson and Marana AZ
As a nod to the businesses struggling to keep up and running during the Ina Road Interchange Project taking place over the next two years, it's important for the public to realize that INA ROAD IS OPEN....the EXIT is closed. Highway crews are busy building the road OVER the train tracks so that traffic will no longer be tied up when a train comes through. The finish project will be similar to Prince and I-10, a little further south along the Interstate.
You can still access Ina and all of the businesses that are clustered near the freeway, right along Ina. You can get to Ina via Cortaro Roads, Orange Grove Roads, and a myriad of other back roads as well.
To help residents and visitors traverse the area, it's easy to sign up for the INA ROAD IS OPEN app available through the Marana Chamber of Commerce. Here is the address to the website: http://www.maranaaz.gov/projectina/
I get updates delivered right to my phone which is mighty handy!
Next time you are thinking of going out to dinner, doing a little shopping, getting a car repair done, buying fantastic cinnamon rolls, filling up with gas, etc....think about the challenge these businesses face over the many many months ahead and send a little business their way.
After all, INA ROAD is OPEN!
