Sometimes, with all of the things that wander in our brains, it can cause a little anxiety.
"I have to make sure I order those signs"... "I need to prepare that CMA"... "I need to set up that property tour"... etc, etc, etc.... round and round she goes...
Last night was one of those nights... sleep and I were ships that passed in the night. Eyes wide-open, staring at the spot on the ceiling where I assume the ceiling fan was making its nighttime rounds. The clock registering each hour... mocking me... mocking me... mocking me.
When suddenly... the clock read 7:30 a.m., and I finally just got out of bed and showered. I didn't dare stay in bed, figuring as exhausted as I was... I would fall into a deep slumber, and miss my 9:00 appointment. Up and at 'em.
And now, I'm paying the price. I don't anticipate any trouble falling asleep tonight... I expect I'll be out as soon as my head meets the duck-down.
Mr. Sandman, bring me a dream...
