Yesterday five girls ages 4-7 gleefully screamed as they found a frog, who became their fast friend. They made him a home, they took turns holding him and they played with him until two dad's and a mom explained to them that their new best friend would have a much happier life if they brought him to the back of the yard and let him free. Though they were sad, they complied. We took a picture to commemorate their day with the frog.

Grant Schneider it is a lot of fun - we have bugs and all kinds of stuff to explore, even the occasionaly garter snake (we have an irrigation canal behind our house, home to many of these critters).

They really just don't know until they are taught Debe Maxwell, CRS. They did understand though. I love frogs, so it was fun for me too, but he's sure to be much happier back in the canal than stuck in a bug catcher container where the kids wanted to keep him...-Kasey
