Do your little bit of good where you are; it's those
little bits of good put together that overwhelm the
world." - Desmond Tutu
This came through on an email today.
John O'Leary was at a REMAX conference he talked at a meeting we attended. His story is very intesting indeed. He was burned as a child and his journey to recovery. As I listened to his story and all that happened from the point of the accident to the time he went home there were several things that stood out.
A Hall of fame announcer heard from a friend about John's accident, he took the time to go by and visit.
This visit made a huge impact on how John looked at life.
Jack Buck was the man that took the time to visit John in the hospital.
You can read the entire story by going the web site above.
Can we as Realtors make a difference in peoples lives?
Do we have opprotunity to take a few minutes to stop by and say hello to someone that is in need?
John's situtation was certianly different than most and we can hope that nothing such as this happens to anyone.
Take a few minutes today to listen to your heart.
Is there someone that could use a visit or a phone call ?
Just do it get out and say hello to someone visit and make a difference in thier lives.
After all we are Realtors the ones that show houses to make homes.
Life's changed. One visit one call make a difference.
