“Removing Disputes from Your Credit Report”
Most of the time putting disputes on your credit report is not a good idea. Unfortunately many credit repair companies do just that in hopes that the creditor reports back that the debt is paid, but that seldom happens.
Lenders that see open disputes on credit reports will condition for them to come off. Having these disputes on reports does not improve credit scores, so when a future mortgage will be needed they need to be removed.
Below is an example of the dispute removal process.
Hi Joe,
I finally had a day off to call all the agencies to remove the disputes so they said basically within 48 to 72 hours I should either get a letter or email stating they have been removed.
Thank you so much for all your help!
