I was interested and had never heard that approach before. Simply put: you don't mind and it don't matter! After cracking the joke, I realized there is more to this than meets the eye. OBJECTIVITY

We tend to over-engage in certain subjects that we "want" to have happen badly. Perhaps we are motivated by necessity, love, want, lust, greed, and a host of so many human nature dynamics. What is driving yours remains to be seen. However, we are far from being objective because of this dynamic...

MOTIVES

Behind an aggressive or passive approach, there is the reason or push that drives it. The healthy or most normal force we all use is the one of making a living or a buck. We are in a society where we trade services & products for money that is necessary for one to eat, make expenses & live a chosen life-style

TRANSPARENCY

I like everything out in the open where we all can see for ourselves what is taking place & why referred to in the vernacular as self-evidency or being self-evident. There is a honesty about this approach which humans tend to crave & react strongly when there is a hidden catch or agenda. Hiding-out? Not good!

SELL or TELL?

Everyone has their approach when it comes to trading services or products. There are many types of buyer mind-sets out there and attracting or appealing to them can determine whether you have income and success. The thing is, how far will you go to get what you want? 

SCAMMING

This pulls out all the acceptable and agreed to exchanges & makes for complications in a otherwise normal market-place. The "wolves" have learned to dress-up as the sheep & take a prey stance when in fact they are class one predators. All of us have fallen to such prey at one time or another

GIMMICKS?

I will use a product or service it makes sense and is as-represented. If it is from a reliable sourcing or where the multitudes safely engage or even offering no risk like warranty or money-back scenarios then I will examine & then proceed according to my need. I don't need a reason just a fair deal in what I want

TURN-OFF

Anytime I encounter aggressive tactics, I pause but consider this. Just as many give-in to that approach which is why it exists to this day and is used successfully but with regret in the majority of times. That's why we have all these consumer protection agencies and such. Coming on strong today is not the way

FINE-LINE

When engaging in the market places where goods and services are exchanged, do we hope for the best or create our success? Those windows of opportunity wait for no one as both parties make it an arena of do or die when it should be buy or buy not. Shrinking are the days where you are comfortable to choose

MIND OVER MATTER

If you don't mind and it don't matter, one has a better chance of success simply because of the mindset that comes with this. If I get what I want & if comes a certain way, then fine. If I don't, then fine too. The I don't need it versus I want it clash begins within the consumer. Tame that... & the rest falls into place

HOW DO YOU ENTER INTO THIS?

As a consumer: I remain a customer that researches and requires answers for big & most purchases. On the small stuff, I have my little places I frequent that have proven themselves over-time

As a provider: I offer a wide range Real Estate related services that can be explored & consulted with. I also submit/write books on life, love, intimacy & purpose for edification & pondering/feedback purposes

IT DOES MATTER AND MIND TOO

My position in what I do for a living is service oriented and centered. Anyone wishing to enter into what I represent will be waited upon in their timing and to their satisfaction. Since I don't do bulk or production services everything I handle is special to me thus making it personally effective

HOW ABOUT YOU?

How do you engage the giving & receiving of life's goods and services? Is there a rhyme to it? A reason? Is it perfected and tested? Reliable and as represented? Mind over matter? It cuts both ways

Hi Richie - I would say for me it depends.  Sometimes it matters a lot.  And sometimes if not many times emotions play big!

what stuck out in your post to me was the your objection to aggressive tactics.  ME TOO.  And because of that I've never been someone who could push to "close the deal" when showing property.  I simply facilitate until they find a house that speaks to them and then I assist in helping them get it at the best price.
