Opening Fishing Success....

As Minnesota Fishing Openers go...this weekend was fairly typical, except for the preceeding weather.  It has been on the chilly side the last two weeks and the waters haven't warmed like they should.  Some of the Norther Lakes even had some ice on them yet.  The fishing was GREAT!...The catching was slow.  But we still had a great time just getting back on the "soft" water.  Just being out of doors is reward enough!

Yea...it was a mix of fishing and business. The cabin is about an hour away, and I do a lot with lake property and hunting property.  It helps me write off my milage to the cabin. LOL

I know how you feel, the weather hasn't been the greatest here but I have managed to do a little fishing. Within walking distance to my house is a state stocked trout stream. Every time I go its crowded so I go lake fishing to avoid the crowds.
