Serendipity Sundays - Christmas is Only 197 Days Away
While visiting one of my favorite craft stores last week I was looking for some gardening decor. I was a little depressed when I rounded the corner and saw rows and rows of fall decor and Halloween decor being stocked to the ceiling. I counted the rows and there were 6 rows of this fall seasonal decor.
I get it that people like to get a jump on making their crafts and if you don't buy early the selection is slim. But this is the first of June. We have plenty of hot weather to go and summer hasn't officially arrived. I was not tempted at all to buy fall decor as I am thoroughly enjoying the pretty garden pots and luminaries and want to get a few more bargains and discounts to add to my collection.
During my search I turned the corner and they were stocking the Christmas shelves. Candles, potpourri, bows were already displayed and there were carts full of other things that would be displayed within hours. After all, Christmas is only 197 days to go.
