A/R Member Dies - Benefit Dinner to help his young children

Check out www.258heaven.org for more info about Chris Mitchell - owner of 258 marketing.

As many of you know our friend, our fellow A/R blogger Chris Mitchell died in a tragic car accident just one month ago. He leaves behind three teenage children and a grandbaby. Chris was the sole custodial parent and sole provider for these children and they all lived with him. They are now faced with being parentless and the uncertainty of their future. There are huge financial expenses ahead. These kids need the help of friends, family and business associates to face these burdens that are ahead. They have huge expenses and future education and housing needs. Please consider what you can do to help Chris' children as they face the future without Dad and Grandpa. We can all identify with the huge LOSS there would be leaving 4 children behind in todays world. CREATIVE IDEAS welcomed that could impact their lives in a positive way.

Here is the info on the Benefit Dinner. There will be a silent/live AUCTION as well as raffles etc. We are looking for donations to the auctions/raffles and for you to buy a dinner ticket even if you can't attend.

Thanks EVERYONE for the outpouring of love, support and prayers to myself as well as the kids during this very sad time. Call me for infor/questions or donations. Linda Burandt 612-219-0262

That is just horrible.  I'm so sad for those kids.  He sounds like he was a great dad/grandpa.  What a tragedy.  Do you have a paypal account for donations?

If you go to www.258heaven.org you will be able to make a secure donation.

Thanks soooo much.

Id be happy to make a donation for them.  (Its this kind of thing that has scared me into getting life insurance for my family.)

Linda - I have done what I can! I posted a blog regarding the fundraiser and hope that you find it helpful. This has been such a tragedy for the family and I have kept them in my prayers. Thank you for letting me know about the event and hopefully it will be a great support for the family.

Linda, I'm going to the site right now to donate. Is there a way to make this a featured post? I think everyone needs to see this. I wonder if they could post it in every group, not just 5?  You are a wonderful person for doing this. God bless all of you.

Elizabeth,

Thank you. I don't know how to make it a featured post....help!!! Does anyone know how to?? I am not necessarily a wonderful person for doing this...you see, he was my one true love, the love of my life and now he's gone and I ache for his children who are now alone. I am trying the best I can to do something to make their lives and their futures better. So I am just doing what anyone would do that loves someone and their children.

But, I am only one person,

If anyone knows how to post this on the main page I would love to do it.

Linda
