It is usually nice to find out you're not the only one who does something. Knowing that John Steinbeck also found himself laying awake at night as he thought about looming problems is comforting. Even better because we have the same idea-- sometimes it's just better to sleep on it! No matter how busy of a day I have, when I go to bed I try to read. I find that it helps keep me from stressing out or thinking about tomorrow's tasks so that I can get some well-deserved shut eye. Luckily, my "Sleep Committee" works while I rest so that when I wake up, days can start off with a pep in my step (at least after I have my coffee)!

If you find yourself in something without a resolution and exhausting yourself over it, trust your body and REST! If your body wants rest, chances are you mind does too.
