Aurora Association of Realtors voting started June 19. Up for elections is 4 Board Of Directors sport and 2 Colorado of Association State Directors spot. We have 10 candidates running for Aurora Association Directors and 3 candidates for Colorado Assocation State Spots.
I am always amaze at the people running that do not show up at Friday Morning Marketing meeting but they show up 3 weeks before election and if they get elected, they are not there again. I try as a director to be at as many functions as I have. 2 current directors come to start the meeting by introducing them self and saying the pledge of allegiance then go to the back of the room and wait 5 minutes and leave.
Someone once told me if you are committed to run, you better be there for the member and if they ask questions you should bring them up at the Broad meeting or to the SEO. It is more then just a title and name for your business card.
Members get out there and vote this week and pick who you feel will make great Directors and be around for you to ask questions. Sorry my term is up the end of Sept. I am there for you always!
